Kamalvandi: Nuclear expertise deeply rooted in safety issues
EghtesadOnline: Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) underlined that the nuclear expertise is deeply intertwined with the safety issues.
“The nuclear expertise in Iran is deeply linked to safety and security issues,” Behrouz Kamalvandi said.
He noted that nuclear technology has 60-year-old track record in Iran, and said, “For the same reason we believe that the nuclear expertise in Iran has developed a strong bond with security and safety issues.”
Kamalvandi made the remarks addressing the opening ceremony of a 3-day workshop on nuclear safety in Tehran on Sunday, according to IRNA.
